Great to meet you!

For over 20 years, I have walked alongside adults and young adults through anxiety, depression, trauma, and some of life's hardest transitions. In our work together, you will never have to edit yourself. I am a bilingual (English and Spanish) LCSW and LCADC in New Jersey. I bring a culturally responsive lens to every session, and for clients who want to weave their faith into the work, I also offer Christian counseling alongside clinical approaches. Whatever brings you here, you are welcome exactly as you are. I would love to connect with you.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me is collaborative and paced to what you need. I draw on CBT, Motivational Interviewing, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness practices, but I adapt based on what is actually working for you. Some sessions we focus on concrete coping tools; others we go deeper into patterns or past experiences. For clients navigating trauma and substance use at the same time, I use Seeking Safety, an approach that holds both without requiring you to address one before the other. You will always know where we are headed, and you will always have a say in that direction.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will focus on getting to know you, understanding what brings you to therapy, and identifying the goals you would like to work toward. I will take time to learn about your background, current challenges, strengths, and the experiences that have shaped you.

I strive to create a supportive, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable sharing at your own pace. Together, we will begin developing a plan that is personalized to your needs and focuses on practical strategies for improving coping, managing emotions, and creating meaningful change.

Clients can expect a collaborative approach where therapy is not about judgment, but about understanding your experiences, building on your strengths, and helping you move toward the life you want to create.
