Why We'll Work Well Together

  • I take a collaborative, holistic approach, considering not only symptoms but also physical health, relationships, culture, family dynamics, and daily life.
  • I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood and comfortable being yourself.
  • Growing up in a Pakistani immigrant family has given me a deeper appreciation for how culture, identity, religion, and family experiences can shape mental health.
  • Together, we'll build on your strengths, gain insight into challenges, and work toward meaningful, lasting change.

If you're looking for a thoughtful and compassionate approach to mental health care, I'd be honored to support you on your journey.

My approach to therapy

I believe effective mental health care begins with understanding the whole person, not just a diagnosis or a set of symptoms. My goal is to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.

My approach is holistic and patient-centered. Together, we'll explore how factors such as physical health, sleep, relationships, family dynamics, culture, life experiences, and daily stressors may be influencing your emotional wellbeing. I work with adolescents and adults facing concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, burnout, and life transitions.

Drawing from my training in Pediatrics, Adult Psychiatry, and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, I take a comprehensive view of mental health and tailor treatment to each individual's needs and goals. I believe the most meaningful progress happens when treatment is collaborative, practical, and grounded in your unique experiences and strengths.

Throughout our work together, we'll regularly evaluate what's helping, address challenges as they arise, and adjust our approach as needed. My aim is to help you gain insight, build resilience, and develop sustainable tools that support long-term wellbeing.

Above all, I strive to provide care that is compassionate, culturally sensitive, and respectful of the many experiences that shape who you are.
