Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California with over 15 years of experience providing evidence-based therapy to individuals and families across the lifespan. My background includes community mental health and work with court-involved and incarcerated youth and adults, as well as individuals with dual and triple diagnoses, including substance use disorders and HIV.I help clients navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, trauma-related concerns, and emotional regulation difficulties. I specialize in supporting pre-teens with school anxiety and transitions, teens preparing for college, young adults launching into independence, and older adults adjusting to major life changes.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, structured, and attachment-informed, focusing on building coping skills, improving communication, increasing insight, and supporting measurable progress toward treatment goals. I provide a confidential, culturally responsive environment where clients feel safe, respected, and supported in creating meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really just a conversation. It’s a space for you to share what’s been weighing on you and for us to see if working together feels like the right fit.

We’ll go over confidentiality, talk about what’s bringing you in, and explore some background that helps me understand the bigger picture. You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “right words.” You can start wherever feels easiest.

By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of next steps and what working together might look like.

What to Expect – For Parents

When working with children or teens, the first session is about hearing everyone’s perspective. I’ll meet with you and your child to understand your concerns and what you’ve been noticing at home or school.

We’ll review confidentiality and talk about how privacy works when supporting minors. My goal is to help your child feel safe and respected, while also keeping parents appropriately informed. Therapy works best when there is trust on all sides.

Together, we’ll create a plan that supports your child’s emotional growth and helps strengthen communication at home.
