Great to meet you!

For the past decade I've lived on the Big Island of Hawaii offering Self Care and Yoga Retreats to Individuals from around the world.

That experience has also allowed me the opportunity to travel throughout Southeast Asia over the past two years, whee I've studied and explored Eastern philosophies and mindfulness traditions as a part of my ongoing journey.

My passion is the mind-body-spirit connection, and I'm dedicated to supporting others toward balance, increased self awareness, integration, and peace.

I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from Vanguard University of Southern California.

I have 15 years of experience in multiple settings including serving as a Clinical Counselor at the U.S. Naval Base San Diego & Coronado Island. my focus continues to be studying & supporting the mind-body-spirit connection through mindfulness and self care practices including breath and body work (somatic).

Additionally, I have a passion for working with teenagers and families. My previous experience as a therapist has also afforded me the opportunity to work with teenagers, college students, and faculty.

I enjoyed over 5 years experience working as a Behavior Analyst working with families and staff creating Behavioral Plans, providing Parent Consultation, and Clinical Supervision.

I have a passion for Solution Focused and Motivational Interviewing approaches with this population, and have had the pleasure to witness some amazing positive outcomes with my clients and their families in both agency and private practice settings.

My approach to therapy

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I take an eclectic person-centered approach grounded in Rogerian principles of unconditional positive regard and empathy.

I integrate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and Eastern philosophies (including Ayurvedic principles) to encourage restoration, relaxation and a deeper connection with self and others.

Currently, my focus continues to be studying & supporting the mind-body-spirit connection through mindfulness and self care practices including breath and body work (somatic).

What you can expect from me

Our first session is designed to support you feeling comfortable and focused on what you'd like to accomplish, rather than spending the entire time reviewing your past.

While we will be exploring and learning more about your background, we will continue learning more as the history gradually unfolds. I will start by reviewing consent and confidentiality so you understand your rights, privacy, and the ethical framework that guides our work.

We'll also discuss the benefits and potential risks of therapy, as it can bring both relief and emotional challenges as deeper awareness develops.

Most importantly, we will spend time clarifying your goals-what feels most meaningful and relevant to you.

My intention is for you to leave our first session with a sense of clarity, safety, and collaboration as we begin your therapeutic journey together.
