Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Korissa, a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and licensed addiction counselor (LAC) and the founder of Amara Healing Center. I work with a wide range of mental health and relational challenges, using a warm, collaborative approach tailored to each client. I’m here to support your healing with empathy, insight, and care.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I take a warm, collaborative, and not judgmental approach, meeting each client where they are in tailoring therapy to fit their unique needs. My style blends evidence – based practices with mindfulness and somatic techniques, and I work with a trauma informed lens. I have experience supporting individuals and families through a wide range of challenges, from everyday stress to complex and emotional relational issues. Above all I am to create a safe, supportive Space where meaningful healing and growth can happen.

What you can expect from our first session

Clients often move sessions feeling more connected to themselves, with a deeper sense of clarity, strength, and possibility. Michael wants to help you uncover the resilience, wisdom, and power that’s already within you. Together, we create space for healing, self – trust, and meaningful transformation.
