Koru Lynn-Tolson

Welcome! I'm a psychotherapist licensed in both Texas and Pennsylvania who is also certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. Prior to becoming a professional counselor, I obtained a Psychology Degree and a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and taught for 16 years to purposefully immerse myself in diverse cultures, family, and community systems. I have experience counseling persons from 3 years of age to those of respected seniority, though I currently only work with adults.

It is my honor to facilitate mental well-being through holistic wellness, as well to assist in self-empowerment and personal growth to achieve a healthy life-balance. I am known for bringing warmth and creativity into counseling and creating a person-centered alliance, where you will not feel judged. I specialize in various therapies including DBT, CBT, and Trauma-Focused Care which can help persons with anxiety, depression & mood disorders, child and adolescent management, and parenting skills.

My personal nature is non-judgmental, so clients tend to feel at ease. Every session will be warm and welcoming starting from our first introductory session where you will feel heard, as I listen to your goals for counseling and help you create a pathway to fulfill those goals.
