Great to meet you!

With over 18 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I bring compassion, insight, and a deep commitment to supporting the emotional wellbeing of the individuals I work with. I received my masters degrees from Boston University. I have been a school social worker for over fifteen years and have worked in private practice for five. I have recently switched my main focus to young adults and women struggling with life transitions and anxiety. I provide telehealth in Massachusetts and in person and telehealth in Connecticut.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in empathy, collaboration, humor, and a strong belief in the resilience of every person. I am passionate about the connection between mental and physical wellness and often incorporate movement and exercise into my work to help people build confidence, manage stress, and foster a healthy mind-body balance. I feel that I have a light hearted approach to most situations and hope to establish a connection where you feel validated and supported. I am also a proponent of walk and talk sessions. If you are interested in walk and talk, please let me know and we can see if it would be a good fit for you!

What you can expect from me

I strive to provide a warm and supportive atmosphere. Whether we are meeting in my office or over telehealth, my goal is to provide a comfortable place to support you. First sessions can be a bit daunting as you are sharing personal details with a stranger but hopefully by the end of our first meeting you will feel at ease! We will work together to create goals that feel comfortable for you.
