Great to meet you!

I am a licensed and registered therapist who uses somatic, verbal and visual modalities to engage and empower clients. I treat a range of sexual and relational issues including male & female sexual dysfunction, infidelity, fertility, and sexual trauma. I foster authentic therapeutic relationships with my clients through culturally-inclusive, anti-oppressive and trauma-informed care.

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my practice you will enter into a culturally sensitive and safe space where your infinite complexity is invited and explored.

My values and approach to the practice of psychotherapy is holistic. All of you is welcomed, just as you are. Together we will work collaboratively to enhance your ability to get your needs met, make choices with more awareness, and support yourself through life’s uncertainty. This process includes assisting you in tuning in to your body, beliefs, and unfulfilling patterns in order to increase your ability to stay present with your shifting experience – where so much of our wisdom lives.

What you can expect from our first session

Somatic therapy integrates the mind and body and uses psychotherapy with body-based interventions for holistic healing. My approach is psychodynamic, and at times, I incorporate somatic awareness into sessions to empower clients to understand that the body is their biggest and most reliable source of information. Our work together may involve purely talk therapy, embodied talk therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness techniques, or a combination of these approaches.
