Great to meet you!

Hi my name is Krista Bergeron. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked with various populations and have a diverse background including people with grief, relationship problems, trauma, domestic violence, crisis, anxiety, depression, cancer and First Responders.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like positive and holistic approaches. My approach encourages transparency, self-compassion, and acceptance. I combine clinical insight and empathy to understand and work with people, recognizing the impact of psychological distress and barriers. I draw on evidence-based techniques and client's strengths which include cognitive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment strategies, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and client-centered direction.

What you can expect from our first session

As a therapist, my goal is to provide a safe space where people can feel comfortable. I believe in a trust based relationship and understand everyone's pace is different. Most clients after the initial session say they experience relief after talking about their concerns.
