Great to meet you!

I am a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 20 years of nursing experience. A Montana native with deep roots in her community, I am passionate about helping individuals achieve lasting mental wellness.

Before specializing in psychiatry, I developed a strong clinical foundation as a registered nurse in internal medicine and infectious disease. This experience provides me with a unique understanding of the important connection between physical and mental health. I earned my graduate education from Walden University as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

I take a holistic, whole-person approach to care, combining evidence-based medication management with non-pharmacological therapies tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. I consider the biological, psychological, and social factors that contribute to mental health and works collaboratively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans.

My areas of expertise include depression, anxiety, panic disorders, OCD, ADHD, bipolar and mood disorders, and schizophrenia. I strive to create a compassionate, supportive, and judgment-free environment where every client feels heard, respected, and empowered on their journey toward better mental health.

My approach to therapy

I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment where clients feel comfortable sharing their concerns and actively participating in their care. I value open communication, education, and shared decision-making, helping clients understand their treatment options and feel empowered in their mental health journey.

With 20 years of nursing experience and a background in internal medicine and infectious disease, I bring a broad clinical perspective to psychiatric care. My goal is to partner with each client to promote stability, resilience, improved quality of life, and lasting mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and judgment-free environment where we take time to get to know you and understand what brings you to care. We will discuss your current concerns, mental health history, medical history, medications, lifestyle, and personal goals. I will listen carefully to your experiences and answer any questions you may have about treatment options. Together, we will identify areas of concern and begin developing an individualized treatment plan that fits your needs, preferences, and goals. My goal is for you to leave your first visit feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
