Great to meet you!

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to move forward, you’re in the right place. I help kids, teens, and adults find relief from the patterns that keep them feeling tense or disconnected, whether that’s perfectionism, constant worry, a difficult relationship with food or body image, or the challenges that come with big life changes. My goal is to help you feel more at ease, more confident in yourself, and more hopeful about what’s ahead.

Therapy with me is a space where you can breathe a little easier and feel truly understood. We’ll work together to make sense of what’s been getting in your way and to build tools and insight that help you move toward the life you want. My approach is warm, flexible, and grounded in evidence-based practices that support real, lasting change.

I draw from a variety of research-supported therapies, including Family-Based Treatment (FBT), Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT-E), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Relational Cultural Therapy. I tailor what we do to fit your goals, stage of life, and what feels most helpful for you. When I work with children and teens, I also collaborate closely with caregivers to create consistent support at home.

I often work with people during times of transition. This includes starting college, stepping into a new caregiving role, or rethinking priorities mid-life. No matter what brings you in, I aim to create a space that feels safe, compassionate, and grounded in genuine curiosity about your experience.

I earned my PhD in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University and have worked in hospital, university, and outpatient settings. I’m a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) and Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, and I love collaborating with other providers to ensure my clients receive thoughtful, inclusive care.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a safe, supportive space where you don’t have to pretend or hold it all together. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person or family I work with. I’ll take time to get to know what matters most to you, what’s feeling hard right now, and how we can work together to help you feel more connected, confident, and grounded.

Sometimes that means building new skills or ways of coping. Other times, it means understanding patterns that keep showing up or making space to process emotions that feel overwhelming or confusing. I also work closely with caregivers when I’m supporting children or teens, and I see relationships as an important part of healing and growth.

Therapy with me isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, body image, big transitions, or just feeling stuck, we’ll work at your pace, with curiosity, compassion, and respect for your experiences.

What you can expect from me

Clients often leave sessions feeling more grounded, understood, and equipped with practical tools to navigate challenges. Over time, they gain insight into unhelpful patterns, develop greater self-compassion, and feel more confident making choices that align with their values. Whether we’re working through a specific concern or exploring bigger life questions, my goal is to help clients feel supported and capable of moving forward with clarity and care.
