Great to meet you!

Reaching out for help can be difficult. With this in mind I thank you for your strength. Life gets complicated at times, creating more challenges that impact daily life. I am here to help you. Together, we can make sense of the hard stuff and work toward creating that life you dream of living.

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, a systems thinker. During my 10+ years in the field, I have helped individuals, couples, and families with all sorts of issues: anxiety, depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, substance misuse, and more.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when it feels like a natural conversation, like journaling out loud, but the journal talks! My approach is collaborative and creative, blending evidence-based techniques with genuine human connection. I meet clients where they are, creating a warm and non-judgmental space where we can explore what's working, what isn't, and what you'd like to change. Therapy shouldn't feel like something that happens to you; it should feel like something we build together. I'm inquisitive by nature, asking thoughtful questions that help us uncover patterns and possibilities you might not have considered before.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, I blend personal engagement and relationship building with a thoughtful intake assessment. My goal is to understand your background, what brings you to therapy, and what you've already tried - what's worked and what hasn't. This isn't just a checklist; it's a conversation where I'm genuinely getting to know you as a person. Together, we'll start creating a plan that feels right for you and sets us up to move forward with clarity and purpose. I want you to leave that first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the work we'll do together.
