Great to meet you!

I received my MD from Morehouse School of Medicine, completed my residency in adult psychiatry at Tufts Medical Center, and my fellowship in child & adolescent psychiatry at NYU Langone. I am double board certified in both adult and child psychiatry. My education and work experience have focused on social justice, antiracism, and gender-affirming care. Medications for psychiatric disorders and psychodynamic psychotherapy are the tools I use most often.

My approach to therapy

I see each patient as a unique individual living and affected by multiple systems all of which contribute to mental health symptoms. I believe there are multiple pathways to healing and my goal is to create a safe space where different modalities can be explored, integrated, and supported in each person’s journey to meeting their goals.

What you can expect from me

I offer in person or virtual sessions. The first meeting will consist of an open ended interview to get to know your medical and psychiatric history and most pressing concerns. I may also request screening forms be completed to get an objective data set for monitoring treatment progress.
