I believe that therapy is a cooperative, mutual experience that changes all involved. I have a welcoming and empathetic approach that helps clients feel comfortable with the therapeutic process. I earned my master's degree from the University of South Florida in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling. I have been working in private practice since 2020. I specialize in working with the queer community, relational and religious trauma, and highly sensitive individuals.
The foundation for all of my work with clients is trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, anti-racist care. Some clients also find it helpful to know that I am a queer therapist with experience in and empathy for the community. I use one of four approaches, depending on your needs. I use a combination of supportive therapy, attachment-oriented/ psychodynamic therapy, DBT-(Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) informed, and hypnotherapy.
You can expect to leave our sessions feeling understood, supported, and insightful, wherever you are along your journey.
