Great to meet you!

I recently earned a doctorate in psychology and have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania since 2019. I have provided counseling services to numerous individuals in diverse circumstances for over 17 years.

I have worked with many adults experiencing varied psychological issues. Reasons those individuals sought treatment included anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, anger management, communication and relationship issues, and a desire to change maladaptive behaviors such as substance use.

I believe my greatest strength as a clinician is my ability to connect and empathize with my clients. I love teaching new skills to my clients to assist them in managing their individual struggles more effectively every day.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate, with a good sense of humor. I like to focus on identifying your strengths and helping you maximize them to overcome obstacles. I'm here to help you sort through the difficult things and offer you a safe place to be open and honest without fear of judgment.

I use Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior therapies during sessions while maintaining a Motivational Interviewing and Solution-Oriented approach. This means we can discuss your personal struggles, and I can teach you effective coping skills to manage your emotions, thoughts, and everyday experiences.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. We will take time to explore what brings you to counseling, identify your strengths, and clarify the goals that matter most to you. My approach is solution-oriented and holistic, meaning we will look not only at current challenges but also at the emotional, physical, relational, and environmental factors that shape your well-being. Together, we will begin developing practical strategies you can use right away, while laying the foundation for meaningful, sustainable change at a pace that feels right for you.
