Krista Swanson

Welcome, I'm Dr. Swanson. For 33 years, I've focused my adult and child practice on authenticity, attachment and trauma (interpersonal, disaster, developmental and violence). The way I work with people is neuroscience-driven and holistic health-based. Because each person is uniquely wonderful, I provide individualized (customized-to-you) care toward optimal mental health and brain well-being. My goal is for you to be out there living your life to the fullest with all the support that you need.

My passion is relationships. I work at the level of how relationships influence and are influenced by your unique-to-you nervous system. We will collaborate as you heal your relationship with yourself and meet your treatment goals via IFS, Psychodynamic, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy and/or Expressive Arts therapy. I streamline your comprehensive care across health professionals for the most efficient, effective and sustainable self-transformation.

In assessment and consultation, you'll get practical answers and support to move forward. In psychotherapy, you will be supported to grow in your relationships, especially that with yourself. You will be supported to work with your unique-to-you nervous system instead of against it. You may develop executive functioning (emotional control, attention and focus) skills. You may resolve conflicts by becoming the director of your own life. You may know new clarity, energy, authenticity and freedom.
