Great to meet you!
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, who uses a strength based, restorative approach to therapy. With a compassionate style, I work creatively and collaboratively with others, helping them to explore and express their feelings, identify internal strengths and utilize those strengths to decrease vulnerabilities with the hope to conquer those weaknesses and experience a sense of relief and hope for a better tomorrow. I am an experienced clinician that would like to help guide you on your journey for change and individual growth in a safe and respected environment.
I have a Masters of Social Work degree from Southern Connecticut State University and received my Bachelor’s in Social Work there also. I have experience working with teenagers in residential homes in the care of the Department of Children and Families, long term care for the elderly population; focusing on aging issues, grief, loss, death and dying. I also have experience working with IICAPS (Intensive in-home Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Services). I have a successful private practice for the past 11 years and joined Headway to reach more people searching for support. In my free time, I am a devoted wife and mother to my three children. I enjoy
cheering them on at their sporting events and coach mu daughter’s soccer and basketball teams. Besides my children’s sporting events I enjoy rooting for the METS and UCONN basketball. I thank you for taking the time to read my bio and look forward to the privilege of joining you on your journey for change. “Change can be scary, but you know what is scarier? Allowing fear to stop you from growing, evolving and progressing” -Mandy Hale.
