Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kristel! I’m passionate about helping people feel happier, healthier, and more confident in their own skin. I love being a source of encouragement and empowerment for those who might not fully see their own strength yet.

I was born in Panama and grew up in South Florida, so I bring a multicultural perspective and speak both Spanish and English. While that’s an important part of who I am, my work is about connecting with people in many different seasons of life — whether you’re navigating big changes, adjusting to parenthood, or simply looking to feel more at peace day-to-day.

Clients often tell me I’m warm, collaborative, and easy to talk to — but also direct and willing to gently challenge them when it’s helpful. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood, while also helping you move toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is very collaborative — I see our work together as a partnership. You bring your story and goals, and I bring tools, strategies, and a safe, nonjudgmental space to help you create real and lasting change.

I use a mix of approaches like CBT and DBT to help you build practical skills, solution-focused strategies to keep us moving toward your goals, and EMDR or ERP when it’s helpful to process past experiences or stuck points.

Most importantly, we go at your pace and focus on what matters most to you, so therapy feels supportive, empowering, and meaningful.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling heard, supported, and empowered to take the next step toward their goals. Together, we focus on building insight, developing practical tools for managing stress and emotions, and finding new ways to approach challenges.

Many clients find that over time, they gain more confidence, clarity, and emotional balance. My hope is that you walk away from our work not only with a deeper understanding of yourself, but with skills and strategies you can use every day to create lasting change.
