Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 16 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. I have worked extensively with children ages 3-14, helping them navigate emotional, behavioral, developmental, and family-related challenges. A significant portion of my work has been with neurodivergent children, including those with ADHD, autism and other unique developmental needs.

I am especially passionate about helping parents navigate the unique challenges of raising children with special needs. Parenting a child with developmental, behavioral, or emotional differences can be overwhelming, and I work alongside families to provide support, practical tools, and advocacy.

In addition to my work with children and families. I have experience supporting individuals and couples through infertility, adoption, and the complex emotions that can accompany these journeys. I am committed to helping clients build on their strengths and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, welcoming, and open-minded. I am a therapist who believes there is no one-size-fits all approach to therapy. I tailor my work to meet the needs of my clients. My approach is grounded in listening, empathy, and building strong therapeutic relationships.

It is worth noting that I do have experience in DIR Floor time therapy (Developmental, Individualize-differences, and Relationship-based model), Attachment Based Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my primary goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. I will take this opportunity to gather background information so that I am in a better position to provide support. While I will ask a lot of questions, there is no pressure to share more than you feel comfortable with. This will also serve as an opportunity to get to know me and see if I am a good fit for your needs.
