Great to meet you!

I’m a former School Psychologist who transitioned into my role as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to provide more holistic and integrative mental health care. Over the years, I’ve developed extensive experience in comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and counseling across diverse settings, including hospital emergency departments, inpatient psychiatry, community mental health, and school systems.

I work primarily with adolescents, adults, and middle-aged individuals (ages 12 through 65), offering care that is tailored to each person’s unique experiences and needs.

I have extensive experience addressing anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and ADHD, and I integrate brief therapy techniques with medication management to create a well-rounded, personalized approach.

My goal is to ensure that every client feels supported, understood, and empowered to take meaningful steps toward healing, growth, and long-term stability.

My approach to therapy

In my practice, I integrate Solution-Focused Counseling and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) principles into medication management sessions. I believe that combining therapeutic conversation with medication support allows for a more holistic and empowering treatment experience.

My sessions are tailored to each individual’s unique needs, focusing on identifying strengths, building coping skills, and setting realistic, achievable goals for improvement.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another and discuss your history, current concerns, and goals for treatment. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and what you hope to achieve, while also answering any questions you may have about therapy or medication options. Together, we’ll begin creating a personalized plan of care that feels comfortable, collaborative, and supportive.
