Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience supporting individuals, couples, and families through anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, and self-esteem struggles. I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work and have worked in both community mental health and private practice settings.

In addition to traditional talk therapy, I integrate mind-body awareness and holistic practices into my work. I am trained in yoga-based techniques and believe deeply in the connection between the nervous system, the body, and emotional healing. My work at Red Bird Cottage & Farm allows me to incorporate grounding elements of nature, mindfulness, and somatic awareness into the therapeutic process when appropriate.

I particularly enjoy working with:

  • Individuals navigating anxiety, stress, and burnout
  • Clients with trauma histories (including CPTSD and relational trauma)
  • Women navigating identity, self-worth, fertility, or life transitions
  • Couples seeking deeper communication and emotional connection
  • Highly sensitive or introspective individuals who feel deeply

I believe healing is not about “fixing” you... It’s about helping you reconnect with the strengths, insight, and resilience that are already within you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and integrative. I draw from:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Trauma-informed care
  • Attachment-based approaches
  • Mindfulness and somatic awareness
  • Nervous system regulation techniques
  • Strengths-based and empowerment-focused frameworks

I view therapy as a space where we gently explore patterns, not with judgment, but with curiosity. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand emotional triggers, and develop tools to regulate their nervous systems.

I also honor the role of the body in healing. Many emotional wounds are stored physically, and learning how to slow down, breathe, and notice sensations can be a powerful part of the work.

Ultimately, I see therapy as a recalibration process, helping you feel more grounded, aligned, and empowered in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a warm, relaxed, and welcoming space.

We will:

  • Review what brings you to therapy
  • Explore your goals
  • Discuss relevant background history
  • Identify immediate stressors or areas of concern

There is no pressure to “have it all figured out.” You are allowed to show up exactly as you are.

My goal in the first session is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood. We will begin identifying patterns and possible next steps, but most importantly, we will establish a foundation of trust.

You can expect gentle guidance, thoughtful questions, and space to move at your own pace.
