Kristen Paustian

I am a compassionate therapist with extensive experience treating substance abuse and mental health conditions. I believe in supportive, evidence-based approaches in working with each individual client to develop their own unique treatment goals for the best possible outcome.

My ideal clients are those who come to therapy with an open mind, are open to the challenge of change, and are looking to become better versions of themselves. I welcome all ages, genders, and sexual orientations, and specialize in treating mental health and substance abuse issues in adolescents.

Everyone has moments where they feel overwhelmed. These moments are often filled with uncertainty and lack of direction. Therapy may feel like a last-ditch effort to leave ‘the stuck place.’ Whether new or experienced in therapy, I am willing to help you explore different pathways to get around feeling stuck. I encourage my clients to feeling comfortable expressing themselves, whether it’s a laundry list of things, or just a few – we can unpack them together without judgment.
