Great to meet you!

I hold a Master of Social Work degree from Campbellsville University with a clinical area of focus, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. I have significant training, clinical experience, and supervision in play therapy. I am trained in EMDR and specialize in assisting clients in processing trauma.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of research-based interventions, including but not limited to EMDR, child-centered play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and family systems therapy. I am passionate about empowering my clients with the confidence and skills needed to navigate life’s challenges. My experience encompasses working with children, adults, and families facing a wide range of mental health issues, such as trauma, ADHD, MDD, anxiety, victims of sexual abuse, crisis intervention, grief, adjustment disorder, parent coaching, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and difficulties in regulating emotions.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, I aim to create a relaxing and comfortable environment. There is no pressure to “have it all figured out” before our meeting together. My goal is to make sure my client feels heard, understood, and supported at their own pace.
