Great to meet you!

Have you found yourself thinking, “I understand why I feel this way, so why is it still so hard to change?” You may be carrying the effects of trauma or attachment wounds, feeling emotionally overwhelmed, or noticing relationship patterns that seem to repeat no matter how hard you try to respond differently. I work with women and couples who are trying to make sense of trauma, attachment wounds, emotional overwhelm, anxiety, depression, and relationship patterns that feel difficult to change. Many of my clients are doing their best to keep life moving while quietly recognizing that something deeper needs care and attention. I offer a steady, supportive space where you can slow down, feel safe enough to be honest, and begin understanding your experiences with greater clarity and compassion.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel compassionate, grounded, and deeply human. I tailor our work to your needs and may draw from attachment-based therapy, narrative therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, Emotionally Focused Therapy, somatic approaches, and other integrative practices. Together, we may explore how your experiences have shaped the way you see yourself, connect with others, and respond when life feels difficult. We’ll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build skills for managing emotions, and practice healthier ways of relating to yourself and the people you care about. My goal is to help you move beyond simply understanding your struggles toward creating meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

Therapy with me is a collaborative process shaped around your goals, your experiences, and what you need most right now. In our first session, we’ll begin with where you are and what brought you to therapy. I’ll give you space to share your story, talk about what has been weighing on you, and describe what you hope could feel different. We’ll begin identifying the patterns, relationships, and experiences you want to better understand while creating a path forward that feels realistic and supportive. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we begin, and there is no expectation that you share more than you’re ready to share. We’ll move at a pace that allows trust to develop naturally. If you’re ready to take the next step, I'd be honored for you to schedule a session.
