Great to meet you!

With 3+ years of experience providing counseling services to adolescents and adults, I have been able to cultivate and expand my expertise and knowledge in this field. I received my BS in Psychology from the University of Houston. I later received her M.Ed. in Counseling & Development from Lamar University. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief issues.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach to therapy comes from a cognitive-behavioral and person-centered approach. CBT helps you identify and challenge negative or distorted thinking patterns, and replace them with more balanced, realistic thoughts. I am there to listen to you without judgment, and to help you explore your thoughts and emotions. With a bit of empathy and understanding, you can gain clarity, and begin to make healthy changes in your life.

What you can expect from our first session

I thoroughly enjoy providing a listening ear and a safe space for my clients. I believe that sometimes, people get stuck in a cycle and need a little help getting out of it. My favorite metaphor is that I am on a road trip with my clients. I am in the passenger seat and you are the driver. I'm here to help with the directions along the journey! If you're ready, let's talk!
