Great to meet you!

I feel incredibly fortunate that my work is also my passion. As a licensed mental health therapist, I have had the opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families through a wide range of life experiences and challenges. I believe that at the heart of effective therapy is a genuine therapeutic relationship built on trust, safety, openness, and connection. Therapy is not meant to feel like a one-size-fits-all process or a conversation that follows a script. I believe therapy should feel human, organic, and collaborative, allowing space for you to show up as your authentic self.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and individualized. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to walk alongside you, offering support, guidance, and a different perspective when helpful. Together, we can explore patterns, emotions, relationships, and experiences that may be impacting your life while developing tools and insight to help you move forward.

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, PTSD, relationship challenges, life transitions, autism, stress, self-esteem, and other emotional and interpersonal concerns. I strive to create an environment where you feel genuinely heard and understood, without judgment or pressure.

I recognize that reaching out for therapy can feel vulnerable and finding the right therapist matters. My goal is to create a space where you can laugh, cry, reflect, challenge yourself, and simply be human. I believe meaningful change happens through connection, trust, and a therapeutic relationship that feels authentic to you. We will work together at a pace that feels comfortable while creating a space where growth can happen naturally.

My approach to therapy

I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from different therapeutic techniques based on what each client needs. I believe therapy should be both insightful and practical, so our work may involve exploring patterns from the past, understanding how they influence the present, challenging unhelpful thought patterns, processing difficult emotions, or developing new ways to respond to life’s challenges. I want clients to leave therapy with not only a deeper understanding of themselves, but also with tools they can use in their everyday lives. My approach is flexible and evolves as you do, allowing us to focus on what feels most meaningful and relevant to you at each stage of the therapeutic process.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my goal is to create a comfortable and welcoming space where you can begin to share what brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the experience. We will spend time getting to know one another, discussing what has been happening in your life, and identifying areas you would like to focus on. I understand that opening up to someone new can feel vulnerable, so there is no expectation that you have everything figured out or know exactly what to say. Our first session is an opportunity to begin building a foundation for our work together, ask questions, and start identifying goals that feel meaningful to you. Most importantly, I want you to leave feeling that you have taken an important first step and that you have a supportive person alongside you as you begin this process.
