Great to meet you!

Fear, anxiety, and shame are often the root causes of many of our society’s mental struggles and concerns. If you or your child feels like you are in a pit of despair or stuck in a destructive pattern of thinking, you may need help getting a new focus or sharing your burden with someone who can listen without judgement.

Life as a Christian, a teacher, a school counselor, a mother, and wife has provided many opportunities for me to gain wisdom and insight into life’s many struggles.

My approach to therapy

My current specialty is play therapy and helping families with conflicts and struggling, anxious youth. I also specialize in helping adults who are suffering from depression, anxiety, and grief.. My philosophy and interventions are faith based, research supported, and very solution focused. Humor and positivity are always infused into my sessions.

What you can expect from me

Helping you see your worth, find lasting hope and courage in the darkest situations, and turn crippling anxiety into positive goal-setting energy in a warm, unconditionally accepting partnership is what I am committed to bring to our counseling relationship. I hope you will ask me to walk with you to new perspectives and purposes in your one and only life.
