You are the most important project you will ever work on. Things can get better and you can find your way to happiness again. I specialize in working with adults, particularly women, who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life they want to lead. We can work on burnout, stress, relationship issues, life transitions, trauma recovery, gender-based violence, sexual assault, grief/loss, body image/self-acceptance, career/education, navigating oppressive systems, and more.
For over 20 years, I've been dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges and create meaningful change. My experience spans diverse settings, including domestic violence shelters, military clinics, women's prisons, university counseling centers, and social justice-focused practices.

The foundation of my approach to counseling is to build a warm, supportive, therapeutic relationship. Together we will seek to understand your history and internal dynamics, as well as how environmental factors such as racism, sexism, homophobia and other types of discrimination have impacted you. I use elements of psychodynamic, narrative, emotion-focused, and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I aim to make the process as welcoming and transparent as possible. In our first session, we’ll explore what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and how we can work together. Therapy is an investment in your well-being, and my role is to support and guide you with care, respect, and expertise.
