Great to meet you!

My name is Kristi Schroeder, I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Philadelphia PA, also licensed in NJ. I received my Masters Degree from Fordham University in NYC and have 10 years of experience in the mental health field. I help adults of all ages who are struggling in relationships, work, and everyday living. I strive to create a safe and supportive space to allow people to discover meaning in their experiences and to navigate life's challenges.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Having worked with a diverse group of clients over the past 10 years with a wide variety of issues and circumstances has been humbling and has enabled me to hold a curious and non-judgemental space to explore anything and everything that is getting the the way of you living a fuller life. Although therapy can be challenging and has it's ups and downs, my clients often express feeling relieved they are taking action to address the problems they are facing.

What you can expect from our first session

In our first few sessions together we will discuss the specific issues that are bringing you to therapy at this point in your life. I will also ask you questions about your life and other challenges you have faced as well as other experiences you may have had in therapy. We will discuss your expectations and allow time for any questions you have about how this process works. This will help me to get to know you better and to give you an idea of how I work and what to expect.
