Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years experience related to loss and grief, health anxiety, depression, caregiver burnout, older adults, advanced illness, and end of life decision making. I am deeply concerned about providing equitable compassionate support to oppressed and marginalized peoples. My specialities include Veteran care, medical related issues, Older adults, and hospice and palliative care in diverse communities.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is trauma informed, collaborative and holistic. I believe a successful therapy experience depends on developing positive rapport between client and therapist. As a disciple of Jesus, my practice is deeply rooted in compassion, faith and the inspired truth of the Biblical scriptures. I often invite you to investigate and explore the spiritual aspects to achieving a flourishing life as well as practical.

What you can expect from me

On our first session you can expect me to be inviting, approachable, someone who deeply listens to your concerns with curiosity, and respect. You can expect a therapist who will be present with you, who draws from various evidence based models such as mindfulness , CBT, therapeutic benefits of nature and music and the arts.I am happy to offer you a 15 minute consultation.
