Great to meet you!

I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist for 20 years. My areas of specialty are working with couples and helping people recover from trauma. I am trained and experienced in several modalities including EMDR, mindfulness, Family Systems, Imago, the principles of Interpersonal Neurobiology and early attachment. It has been a profound privilege being on this journey with others. Participating in a process where others dive deep into their vulnerable truth, has given my life great meaning. I've been called to provide a space for others to be seen, heard, and known in the midst of their feelings of shame, guilt, fear, inadequacy, unworthiness, and vulnerability and through their experience of being more truly known be reminded of their profound value and worthiness

My approach to therapy

My approaches to treatment include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Imago Therapy for couples, Attachment, Family Systems, and Christian based spiritual formation.

I am also trained in EMDR which has been proven effective in treating trauma in all it’s forms (PTSD, emotional wounding, and early childhood disruptions). EMDR can also strengthen inner resources to address depression, general anxiety, performance anxiety, and general phobias.

What you can expect from me

In our first session we will spend time getting to know each other. During this process I am eager to learn about you, what's important to you, and how I can assist you in your personal journey.
