She works with individuals ages 5-100, families, adolescents, drug addiction and parents who need guidance. Some specialty skills include problem-solving, communication, coping skills, and relaxation exercises for anxiety.

My approach to therapy

Cognitive-behavioral therapy is an action-oriented form of psychosocial therapy that assumes that maladaptive, or faulty, thinking patterns cause maladaptive behavior and "negative" emotions. The treatment focuses on changing an individual's thoughts (cognitive patterns) in order to change his or her behavior and emotional state.

What you can expect from me

I relish the prospect of working with others, both as part of a team working towards a common goal, and also working face-to-face with individuals and families from all walks of life to provide them with assistance.
