I am a licensed psychotherapist who has provided mental health services to individuals, couples and families of all ages and backgrounds, working in community-based mental health clinics and in school-based counseling programs for over six years. I received a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in health psychology, from Santa Clara University. I also completed advanced training in trauma studies through the Trauma Research Foundation and was certified as a Grief Educator through David Kessler Training. I am conversant in Spanish.

My approach to therapy is trauma-informed, incorporating an attachment lens and client centered practices to create a safe, supportive environment for my clients. I utilize a strength-based approach that honors clients’ knowledge, expertise, and resilience while offering a safe environment in which clients may gain insight and skills to understand and navigate life’s transitions, its joys and its challenges.
