Great to meet you!

I specialize in research-based couples therapy and support for individuals, families, and friends affected by dementia or cognitive change. As a New York Times–featured relationship scientist, dementia researcher, author, and psychologist, I bring both clinical expertise and research-informed care to my work.

-

I help couples who feel stuck in painful patterns, disconnected from one another, or unable to resolve the same arguments. I also support people navigating dementia, memory changes, a new diagnosis, or the grief and uncertainty that can come when an important relationship begins to change.

-

Whether you are trying to reconnect with your partner, stay connected to someone living with dementia, or find your footing in a difficult relational season, I can help you make sense of what is happening and move forward with more clarity, compassion, and confidence.

  • Please note:
    • Couples rates are $350/70 minute session
    • Individual rates are $250 for 50 minute session; Aetna Insurance accepted

My approach to therapy

I blend heartfelt empathy with evidence-based strategies (CBT, attachment-informed techniques, Gottman Method) customized to your unique experience. In our sessions, you can expect:

  • Curiosity & Collaboration: We explore your patterns, values, and emotional triggers together.

Practical Tools: We translate insights into exercises—journaling prompts, communication scripts, coping plans—that you can use between sessions.

Safe Exploration: A warm, nonjudgmental space to express fears, hopes, and everything in between.

What you can expect from me

  • Greater Self-Understanding: Clarity around what drives your thoughts, feelings, and relationships.
  • Improved Connection: Skills to voice your needs, set boundaries, and deepen trust in your relationships.
  • Resilience Toolkit: Personalized techniques for managing anxiety, processing loss, and navigating change.
  • Empowerment & Hope: A clear roadmap for moving forward with confidence, compassion, and authenticity.

––– Ready to feel seen, heard, and supported? Let’s work together to help you reclaim connection and build the life you deserve.
