Great to meet you!

Life can be challenging and sometimes the people in our lives aren’t able to assist us in the way we need. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I’ve been trained to get to the root of one’s problems and find a path towards healing and relief. I see adolescents and adults with a variety of concerns including relationship issues, stress, grief and loss, depression and anxiety. I also have extensive experience working with substance abuse and addiction.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic orientation is eclectic, largely influenced by psychodynamic and humanistic theories. What this means is you and I will work together in a safe environment to address what's causing you pain and resolve your inner turmoil. We will focus on your current experiences in conjunction with addressing buried feelings, past and present relationships and patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

What you can expect from me

In the first session, I’ll invite you to share what you hope to get out of coming to therapy. We’ll look at your history and present concerns, as well as any other pertinent information. It can take time to feel comfortable, but my goal is to provide you with a safe and secure space to talk about whatever you need to allow for healing and change to take place.
