Kristin Bates

My name is Kristin and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia. I have over a decade of experience in the field working with youth, adolescents and teens in different settings. I have worked as a Therapist in a juvenile psychiatric and mental health facility as well as worked in the school system as School Social Worker.

My approach is simple, I like to partner with you to help you achieve your desired mental wellness. I like to use a variety of treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy. value being present with you and exploring how you can utilize your strengths to overcome life’s challenges. My hope is that through therapy you will feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to reach your personal goals.

It can be uncomfortable talking to someone you don't know. I am dedicated to providing a relaxing environment where you can be yourself.
