Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Kristin! I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania with a background in outpatient mental health and community-based work. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree of psychology, then went on to obtain a Master’s degree of social work and appropriate licensure. I work primarily with adults who feel overwhelmed, stuck or burned out- especially those who are used to being the “strong one” for everyone else.

Many of my clients are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship stress, or the quiet exhaustion that comes from constantly holding it together. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can slow down, gain clarity, and build practical tools that actually fit your life.

My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based practices, while still honoring your lived experience. Therapy with me is both compassionate and goal oriented, but I am not afraid to challenge you. We process the hard things, but we also work toward meaningful change.

If you’re ready to feel more steady, confident, and in control of your life, I’d be honored to support you.

My approach to therapy

I utilize evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based interventions, and solution-focused strategies. I value a collaborative therapeutic relationship and tailor treatment to each client’s goals, cultural background, and unique circumstances.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is simply a conversation. There’s no pressure to have the “right” words or tell your whole story perfectly. During our first meeting, we’ll spend time getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what’s bringing you in, what feels most overwhelming right now, and what you’d like to see change. We’ll also review relevant history (mental health, relationships, work stress, major life events) at a pace that feels manageable for you. You can expect me to:

  • Create a calm, nonjudgmental space
  • Ask thoughtful, clarifying questions
  • Listen for patterns and strengths- not just problems
  • Begin identifying initial goals for therapy
  • Answer any questions you have about the process

If you’re feeling anxious, unsure, or even skeptical- that’s completely okay. Many clients come in feeling exhausted, burned out, or stuck. My role is not to analyze or “fix” you in one session, but to understand your experience and begin building a plan that feels realistic and supportive.

By the end of the first session, you can expect to have:

  • A clearer sense of how therapy with me works
  • Initial goals or focus areas
  • A collaborative plan for next steps
  • A sense of whether we feel like a good fit

Therapy is a partnership. You don’t have to have everything figured out—we’ll sort through it together.
