Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for over 30 years, I have had the privilege of bearing witness to many journeys. It is at once humbling and gratifying to be a part of someone's story, see them transcend the struggles of life and find meaning and satisfaction in their lives. I like to keep it down-to-earth and practical.

My approach to therapy

First and foremost, I hope to put people at ease - coming to therapy can be nerve-wracking so I like to keep it light to begin with and then start to identify goals. Using a blend of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive and other humanistic therapies, I specialize in anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I also have extensive background dealing with substance use and the impact on families.

What you can expect from me

It is my wish that anyone who comes to me for help feels listened to, understood and motivated to use new ideas, insights and skills to help themselves in their everyday lives.
