Great to meet you!

I am open-minded, and enjoy working along side of my clients to improve their daily experiences. I see us as a team when we are working together to accomplish your treatment goals. I have a Masters degree in Counseling and Psychology, received in 2017, but I have worked in the mental health field since 2001. I enjoy doing work around empowering clients to embrace their authentic self in a variety of situations and believe this can lead to improved satisfaction in one's life.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I work from a strengths based perspective. We can identify what is working and what is not, and go from there. I am supportive, encouraging, and even directive when needed. I believe in my client's ability to recover from past trauma, to move through depression and anxiety, and move towards healing.

What you can expect from our first session

I enjoy teaching new skills to clients that are simple yet effective from CBT and DBT theoretical approaches. I also like to help clients using narrative therapy, solution focused therapy, and internal family systems. I use a combination of therapies to meet clients where they are, and then help them move into a healing connection with themselves and their environments.
