Great to meet you!

As a licensed mental health counselor, I seek to use my skills to facilitate growth and healing for the greatest and highest good to come forward. Goals may include specific behavior changes, symptom relief, personal growth, and/or the enhancement of well-being. My approach to counseling is client-centered using solution-focused counseling to support clients in identifying solutions quickly. My counseling style is integrative, somatic, respectful, and powerful.

My approach to therapy

Because of my background and training in yoga therapy and massage therapy, our work together may include breathing exercises, suggestions for stretching exercises, meditation, guided imagery, and client-centered dialogue using a holistic focus to integrate mind, body, and spirit. I support you in being present to what is happening in your body and helping you and your body feel better. I have helped many clients with eating disorders develop a new and healthier relationship with their body.

What you can expect from me

My approach to counseling is to help you develop and strengthen patterns of thinking-feeling-behavior that support you in your life, career, and relationships. This approach is best described as relationally based, outcome focused and relatively short-term. You can expect to enjoy your life and your relationships more as an outcome of our sessions together.
