Great to meet you!

If you’re looking for a therapist who quietly nods for 50 minutes, I may not be the best fit. My style is active, engaged, direct, and deeply relational.

I work with adolescents, adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship struggles, life transitions, and difficult interpersonal dynamics. Clients often describe feeling both genuinely supported and meaningfully challenged in our work together.

I believe therapy should help people gain insight, shift patterns, improve relationships, and move toward lasting change not just vent for an hour each week.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is relational, insight-oriented, and tailored to the individual. I help clients better understand the patterns, relationships, defenses, and emotional experiences that may be keeping them stuck while also working toward meaningful change in daily life.

I draw from psychodynamic, attachment-based, family systems, and emotionally focused approaches, while integrating practical tools when helpful. I believe strong therapy involves both emotional safety and honest exploration. My role is not simply to listen, but to actively help clients develop insight, improve relationships, increase emotional awareness, and build healthier ways of coping and connecting.

What you can expect from me

People are often nervous walking into therapy for the first time, but many clients quickly realize my office and approach feel far more comfortable, human, and conversational than they expected. The space itself is warm and intentional rather than overly clinical, and I work hard to create an environment where people feel at ease, understood, and able to be themselves.

My style is active, engaged, and conversational, so clients can expect more than just sitting in silence while someone takes notes. We’ll explore the concerns bringing you to therapy, patterns in relationships or emotions that may be contributing to distress, and what you hope might feel different moving forward.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. My goal in the first session is to help clients feel understood, challenged when appropriate, and comfortable enough to begin building a meaningful working relationship.
