Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (RMFTI) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Rollins College. With over a decade of clinical experience, I provide compassionate, trauma-informed, and evidence-based care to individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, fostering a supportive therapeutic environment where clients can build resilience, strengthen relationships, and work toward meaningful personal growth and lasting change.

My clinical experience spans both private practice and residential treatment settings, where I have provided therapeutic services to individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depressive and mood disorders, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, substance use and co-occurring disorders, relationship and family challenges, identity development, disordered eating, and significant life transitions. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with high-acuity populations, including crisis intervention, suicide and self-harm risk assessment, safety planning, and the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment plans within residential and higher levels of care.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is holistic, culturally responsive, and collaborative, grounded in a strengths-based framework that honors each client’s unique experiences, values, and goals. I integrate a variety of evidence-based modalities, including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), mindfulness-based interventions, attachment-focused therapy, expressive arts techniques, somatic-informed approaches, play therapy, and family systems theory. I am certified in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and have completed Levels I and II training in the Gottman Method, allowing me to effectively support individuals, couples, and families in developing greater emotional resilience, healthier relationships, and lasting positive change.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect their first session to be a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can share their concerns and begin building a therapeutic relationship. Together, we will explore what brings them to therapy, discuss their goals, and identify areas they would like to work on. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and client-centered, with a focus on helping clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as we begin the process of creating meaningful change.
