Great to meet you!

My approach is compassionate and easygoing as I create a space where you can feel safe and supported. Together, we'll explore how your experiences, relationships, and unhealed past may be impacting you emotionally, mentally, and spiritually at different stages of life. My approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I also incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR to support deeper healing. My work is faith-informed for those who'd like to integrate their beliefs into the counseling process.

I'm currently offering virtual therapy but will be transitioning to an office-space summer 2026! I enjoy working with any age group, from early adolescence to older adults.

My approach to therapy

I take a directive yet compassionate approach by actively listening to your particular situation and reason for seeking therapy. We'll then begin implementing therapeutic interventions, at a pace you're comfortable with, through preferred or a combination of directive therapies (structured approaches with active guidance towards specific goals). In addition, we will monitor symptoms with feedback and skill-building tasks in-between sessions, and evaluating progress along the way!

What you can expect from me

I like to begin the session at a comfortable pace, to listen to your concerns and also explain therapeutic strategies we'll be using as well as a treatment plan. I like to leave time to answer any questions you may have!
