Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with a Master’s degree in Counseling from Sam Houston State University and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Dakota. My professional background includes working as a Mental Health Specialist and serving as a kindergarten teacher for nearly nine years. My experience has strengthened my ability to build trusting relationships, provide emotional support, and help individuals navigate social, behavioral, and emotional challenges. My treatment interests include anxiety, stress management, emotional regulation, self-esteem, coping skills, and life transitions. I strive to provide a compassionate, supportive, and client-centered environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered to work toward personal growth and improved mental well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and client-centered, creating a safe and

supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and respected. I believe each individual has unique strengths and experiences, and I work to meet clients where they are while helping them identify their goals and develop effective coping strategies. I incorporate evidence-based techniques tailored to each client’s needs, with a focus on emotional regulation, building self-esteem, managing anxiety and stress, and navigating life’s challenges. My goal is to empower clients to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting changes that support their overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable sharing your story at your own pace. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your concerns and goals, and begin identifying areas where you would like support. I will take time to get to know you, answer any questions you may have, and explain what the therapeutic process may look like. My goal is for you to leave our first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful as we begin working together toward your personal growth and emotional well-being.
