Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) that is also a national board certified counselor (NBCC). I have been in practice for almost 20 years. I work with adolescent and adults. A wide range of issues are addressed in therapy; that can ease painful feelings and lead to developing new strategies and techniques. Some of the most common treatment areas I work with are: depression, anxiety/panic attacks, anger/behavior management, grief, addiction, body image, mood disorders, and relationship problems.

Offering services that facilitate growth and positive change in our patient's thinking and behaviors is our mission statement at our practice.

My approach to therapy

As a licensed professional counselor, my goal is to help you uncover your potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. Together, we will find your strengths and create the structure that allows you to function at your best.

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're ready to move in a new direction in your life, I will work with you to help you achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT); is a psychotherapeutic approach that addresses dysfunctional emotions, behaviors, and cognition through a goal-oriented, systematic process. CBT is effective for the treatment of a variety of conditions; including mood, anxiety, personality, eating, substance abuse, and psychotic disorders.

Complementary therapy approaches and techniques will be applied as needed to help unearth long standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
