Great to meet you!

I specialize in helping teens, and adults navigate eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. I also support clients working through anxiety, perfectionism, and mood challenges that often show up alongside these experiences. If you’re feeling stuck in cycles with food, constantly at war with your body, or overwhelmed by anxious thoughts, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University (Wreck ’em!) and my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Houston. As a member of Houston Eating Disorder Specialists (HEDS), I’ve had the opportunity to work across multiple levels of care, including support groups, Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Partial Hospitalization (PHP), supporting individuals, families, and groups through meaningful and lasting change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to you. I primarily use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help you build practical coping skills and navigate intense emotions, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you create a life that feels meaningful even in the presence of difficult thoughts and feelings, and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) to gently reduce fear and avoidance patterns so they no longer control your life. Therapy with me is not about perfection or fixing you. It is about helping you feel more at ease in your mind and body, strengthening your sense of self, and creating sustainable change at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely supported. I show up as my authentic self in sessions and invite you to do the same, without pressure to have it all together. If you are ready to start healing your relationship with food, your body, or yourself, I would be honored to walk alongside you in that process.
