Great to meet you!

Hi. My name is Dr. Kristin Tugman. I have been working in the mental health field for about 30 years which includes workplace mental health also. I have a strong solution-oriented background in cognitive behavioral therapy but I also think a holistic approach is important and often use mind body connection and mindfulness tools in my approach. I specialize in treating depression and anxiety. I have also spent a lot of time focusing on burnout and setting boundaries to both avoid it and recover from it.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I like to start by getting to know each other during our first session where we will walk away with some preliminary goals for therapy. We will then set up our therapy cadence of appointments. I like to give a little homework after most sessions because a lot of times the work gets solidified between sessions.

What you can expect from our first session

I am solution focused so I try to focus on therapy goals, but I will also give space to anything that comes up in our process that you want and need to shift to as our work evolves. The time is yours and we will work together to get you to where you want to be in your life.
