Great to meet you!

I have been working in the field of mental health for over a decade and specialize in supporting new and expecting parents who are experiencing anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and OCD. I earned my Master of Social Work from Boston University and began my career as a therapist soon after, where I found my passion for helping individuals navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood. Over the years, I have developed a particular expertise in OCD and anxiety disorders, and I am deeply committed to providing evidence-based care in a compassionate, supportive environment.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy works best as a collaborative process, where we draw on your unique strengths and lived experience while also integrating evidence-based strategies. My approach combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and attachment-based interventions. These methods provide practical tools for managing anxiety and intrusive thoughts while also fostering resilience, connection, and self-compassion. Above all, I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel seen, supported, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what feels most important to you right now. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences and the challenges you’re facing, but there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. Together, we’ll begin to outline a plan for therapy that feels supportive and tailored to your needs. My aim is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.
