Hi, I’m Kristina, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than eight years of experience working with adolescents and adults. My background includes private practice, intensive outpatient treatment, substance use services, and supporting veterans, and individuals in recovery. I specialize in anxiety, depression, OCD, substance use, relationship concerns, low self-esteem, stress, and major life transitions. I am also trained in Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD.
My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and client-centered. I tailor therapy to each client’s needs and draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Humanistic and Person-Centered Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD. I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space while helping clients identify unhelpful patterns, build coping skills, strengthen confidence, improve relationships, and respond to stress and uncertainty in healthier ways.
In our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where we begin getting to know you, what brings you to therapy, and what you hope to change. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant history, strengths, and goals for treatment. Together, we will identify initial priorities and develop a plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.
