Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of New Jersey and earned my Master of Social Work degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. I am a member of the Phi Alpha Honor Society and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW), and I hold a School Social Worker Certification.

With over 12 years of experience in the mental health field, I have worked across a variety of treatment settings, including residential facilities, partial care programs, inpatient hospitals and outpatient agencies. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, adults and couples within a wide range of mental health concerns.

My goal is to provide a supportive, compassionate and collaborative environment where my clients feel heard, respected and most importantly empowered as they work towards their goals.

My approach to therapy

As a therapist, I do not believe there is a one-size-fits-all approach to treatment. Every person who I've been able to connect and work with has a unique story, a different set of experiences from the next person. It is my job to LISTEN and help you identify your strengths as they will play a major role in treatment. As we work together, I will take the time I need to understand your goals, challenges and needs so that my approach to treatment can best support your growth.

My approach will always be collaborative. I utilize a variety of treatment modalities such as, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution Focused Therapy, and other approaches as needed or appropriate.

What you can expect from me

During our first session (intake), we will spend time getting to know one another while discussing what has brought you to therapy. You will have the opportunity to share and highlight the parts of your story that you feel are important for me to know during your intake as well as goals you'd like to work toward.

I take pride in creating a welcoming, safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can feel comfortable enough to be your authentic self. I do not push for information. Instead, I allow you to take the time you need to share your life story at your own pace.

My main goal for your first session is for you to feel SEEN, HEARD and SUPPORTED because we all need a safe space to process our pain, traumas, insecurities, hurt, etc. without judgement!
